When to Ski in the USA

The main ski season across these western US resorts typically runs from late November or early December through to April, although opening and closing dates depend on snow conditions and the individual mountain. January and February usually bring colder winter conditions, while March is particularly popular for longer days, sunshine and good high-altitude snow.
