I’m a passionate skier who makes up for what I might lack in skill with plenty of enthusiasm!

I’ve been working in the travel industry since 1989, gaining a wealth of experience in organising trips and holidays. My biggest dislikes on the slopes are poor snow and long lift queues — so if those are your pet peeves too, you can trust you’re in good hands with me.

I first went skiing in Chamonix when I was 5 — while my brother was more interested in throwing snowballs at unsuspecting skiers, I couldn’t get enough of the slopes. Ever since, I’ve headed to the mountains as often as possible.

Joining SkiGems last year was a perfect fit, bringing together my love of sport, travel, and creativity. 

Hi, I'm Laura. I learnt to snowboard in Canada and fell in love with the champagne powder and long steep runs.

After 3 seasons I moved to Japan to take on the legendary snow and immerse myself in the amazing culture.

With years of in resort experience, passion for the industry and an adventurous background I have all the skills and experience needed to help you book your dream ski holiday!  

I first learned to snowboard in Bulgaria, before spending a season in Verbier where I truly fell in love with the mountains.

Since then, I’ve explored countless resorts across - from Banff in Canada to a short trip to Poland that ended with a broken collarbone (get insurance folks!).

With a career built around selling both package holidays and tailor-made trips, I know how to create the perfect getaway to match each traveller’s unique needs.
