Travel insurance is recommended, especially for winter sports. EHIC/GHIC cards offer limited emergency medical cover.

Finland offers an unforgettable ski experience, from popular resorts like Levi and Ruka to hidden gems such as Pyhä and Salla. Levi is the country’s largest resort, known for its vibrant après-ski and well-groomed slopes. Ruka boasts reliable snow and a long season. For quieter escapes, Pyhä offers stunning fell scenery and fewer crowds, while Salla, near the Russian border, is perfect for peaceful skiing under the Northern Lights. Finland’s resorts combine Arctic charm, snow reliability, and natural beauty.
