Soldeu, Andorra
Big Skiing, polished differently.
Soldeu occupies one of Grandvalira’s most useful positions, sitting near the centre of the linked ski domain with straightforward connections towards El Tarter, Encamp and the eastern sectors. The village base is around 1,800m, with a gondola carrying skiers directly from the centre towards the higher terrain above.
The sector combines broad, approachable pistes with considerably more technical skiing, most famously the Avet. This World Cup race piste drops directly towards Soldeu, with a maximum gradient of 65%, and has hosted major international racing including the World Cup Finals.
