Four Valleys. One Unforgettable Lap.
The Sellaronda is one of the Dolomites’ great ski journeys, circling the enormous Sella massif and linking four Ladin valleys: Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba and Val di Fassa. Rather than spending the day lapping one mountain, you can ski an entire circuit through changing landscapes, villages and mountain passes before arriving back where you started.
The complete loop covers 44km, with 23km skied and the remainder travelled by lift. It can be tackled clockwise following the orange signs or anticlockwise following the green, with around six hours recommended to complete the full route. The skiing is graded as medium difficulty, but the distance means some stamina and confidence are useful.
