There are plenty of pistes in the mountains for players of all skill levels, including double-diamond black slopes, back bowls, and gentle greens. With consistent snowfall throughout the season, the majority of resorts in the United States are open from December to mid-April. The coldest months are December and January, when temperatures frequently fall between -5 and -15°C.

British nationals are not required to have a visa in order to enter the United States; nevertheless, they must obtain an authorization from ESTA, or the Electronic System for Travel Authorization, prior to their trip, failing which they will be denied entrance.
