Ski info
Good conditions in Spain's resorts are usually guaranteed due to the high height of the slopes in the Sierra Nevada and the Spanish Pyrenees. There are also several snow cannons to keep the pistes topped off in between snowfalls. Spain's resorts are open from December to April though March is your best pick if fair weather and milder temperatures are your top priorities, but blue skies and sunshine are prevalent throughout the winter, so you'll typically get a few clear days on your trip.
Travel info
British citizens are not required to obtain a visa for travel to Slovakia. However, it's important to verify the and expiration dates of your passport. The passport must have a minimum of 3 months' validity remaining after your return date.
Additionally, you will need a valid insurance policy that includes coverage for winter sports when you book your ski holiday with us.
Spain has diverse ski resorts, with the Pyrenees and Sierra Nevada standing out. Popular resorts like Baqueira-Beret in the Pyrenees boast excellent facilities and stunning scenery.
For hidden gems, try Formigal, a lesser-known resort with vast terrain, or La Molina, Spain's oldest ski area. Sierra Nevada, Europe’s southernmost resort, offers long ski seasons and Mediterranean views. Hidden gems like Cerler offer fewer crowds and scenic, challenging slopes perfect for skiing enthusiasts.
