Ski info
While experienced skiers can enjoy World Cup-caliber steeps and picturesque off-piste, beginners will love Finland's English-speaking ski schools and plenty of easy slopes. The nicest thing about Finland is that you can ski in Lapland because numerous resorts, including Levi and Ylläs, are located inside the Arctic Circle. Spend your vacation in a magical Christmas environment, regardless of the season.
Being this far north, excellent snowfall is typically guaranteed throughout Finland's primary ski season, which runs from December to February.
Travel info
British citizens are not required to obtain a visa for travel to Finland. However, it's important to verify the and expiration dates of your passport. The passport must have been issued less than years prior to your arrival, and it should have a minimum of 6 months' validity remaining after your return date.
Additionally, you will need a valid insurance policy that includes coverage for winter sports when you book your ski holiday with us.
Finland offers excellent ski resorts, with Levi and Ylläs being among the most popular. These larger resorts boast well-maintained slopes, scenic landscapes, and plenty of winter activities like cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. For those seeking quieter, lesser-known spots, hidden gems like Pyhä and Salla are perfect. These smaller resorts provide a more tranquil experience, unspoiled nature, and shorter lift lines, making them ideal for those who prefer a peaceful, intimate skiing getaway.
