Ski info
When it comes to skiing in Italy, there are well-maintained pistes, excellent snowmaking, and a variety of ski regions where you can log a lot of miles. The ski season in Italy lasts from December to April. Although snowfall isn't as consistent here as it is elsewhere in the Alps, it is more than made up for by the superb snowmaking. Additionally, because of the low temperatures and dry air, the snow lasts longer. You may anticipate empty slopes during the week in Italy because it's typically quieter than France or Austria, especially if you steer clear of popular school holidays like Christmas.
Travel info
British nationals can enter Italy without a visa, however you will need to verify the validity and expiration dates of your passport. You must have at least 3 months remaining on your passport after the day you return home, and the issue date must be fewer than 10 years prior to the date of arrival.
Additionally, you will need a valid insurance policy that includes coverage for winter sports when you book your ski holiday with us.
Italy's ski resorts offer a blend of world-class slopes and charming, lesser-known gems. The Dolomites, with resorts like Cortina d'Ampezzo, are renowned for their breathtaking scenery and luxury.
Hidden treasures like Alagna Valsesia and Prali provide more secluded, authentic experiences, perfect for skiers seeking unspoiled terrain and fewer crowds. Italy’s diverse ski areas, from the Alps to the Apennines, offer not just excellent skiing but also rich culture, gourmet cuisine, and stunning landscapes.
