Skiing in Austria boasts stunning tree-lined and slopes that cater to all skill levels. The lift are exceptional, with modern chairs and gondolas that quickly whisk you up the mountain. Even at lower altitudes, you can expect well-groomed slopes and impressive snowmaking.
The Austrian ski season typically runs from December to April, offering reliable snow conditions. For the best experience in March or April, choose a high-altitude resort or one with a glacier. Lower resorts provide longer days and softer snow during these months, while January is ideal for fresh snow with all valley runs open.
Travel info
British citizens are not required to obtain a visa for travel to Austria. However, it's important to verify the and expiration dates of your passport. The passport must have been issued less than years prior to your arrival, and it should have a minimum of 3 months' validity remaining after your return date.
